Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist who has a unique style. Baker was born into an English Scottish German family in Houston, Texas U.S.A. in April 22 in 1991. His parents were missionaries and throughout his childhood, Baker traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker was depressed and was unemployed when Sonia Alane, his mother, left the Baker family at barely nine years old. After that, Baker and his father relocated to Denver in the area where they stayed with his father's aunt. Baker's lack of resources was a reason to be bullied by children in the area. The first time Baker heard of hip-hop was as he began sixth the sixth grade. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on April 22 1991 in Texas. He is known for fusing hip-hop that is contemporary and alternative with rock music in his compositions. Baker, who signed with Bad Boy Records in 2010 and released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. This Cleveland rapper who raps the lyrics with as much speed as a bullet-train, experienced a meteoric climb in late 2011 when he switched to self-publishing mixtapes instead of signing with reputable labels. The career of the rapper took off after that, with each of his releases making it to the top ten charts.
